General product safety information
Fair Line, one of the first ISO 9001 certified companies in the goldsmith sector, is focused on Made in Italy production and it is deeply committed to guarantee the quality and safety of its jewellery in order to protect the well-being and health of consumers.
All our products comply with the European GPSR Regulation 2023/988, thanks to:
- careful and rigorous controls of suppliers that ensures to be complaint with regulations and Fair Line additional quality requirements developed in order to prevent non-compliant products from entering the market;
- risk assessment analysis conducted by manufacturers to ensure that items are safe for their intended use;
- product design not to be confused with other products, in particular with food products;
- implementation of internal quality procedures that ensure the safety of both finished or semi-finished incoming products;
- storage and transportation, during the time of our responsibility, that does not compromise compliance with the general safety requirements;
- immediate notification to the manufacturer and to competent authorities via the Safety Business Gateway in case of the discovery of a non-compliant or dangerous product made available on the market;
- use of alloys that comply with the requirements applicable to jewellery under EU Regulation 1907/2006 REACH on restricted substances.
For all our articles we recommend to:
- use the product only for wearing under normal conditions of use and not for other uses or in situations of sporting, outdoor or dynamic activities, medical context or in case of possible interference with other objects or equipment;
- remove the product before falling asleep;
- use pins and brooch with caution to avoid pricking yourself;
- pay attention to profiles, edges and sharp parts that could cause lacerations, cuts and wounds;
- do not swallow, paying particular attention to removable and small parts (e.g. earring butterfly closing);
- do not use in case of allergies to any metal and alloy, as they could be contained in the product in quantities contained within the limits prescribed by legislation;
- to keep out of reach of children and vulnerable people.
